daleyboyVR6 6 Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 That is incredibly tight the bolts which are on the bottom of the strut to hub assembly (the ones that adjust camber) are only 95nm and i needed a bar to tighten them so 200nm seems a bit exessive Link to post Share on other sites
spanner junkie 0 Posted December 23, 2007 Author Report Share Posted December 23, 2007 On looking at a copy of the Bentley manual this morning it says.....Outer cv joint to wheel hub(with modified wheel hub)Stage 1......200NmStage 2......Loosen one turnStage 3......50NmStage 4...... Tighten 1/12 turn..(30')I take it the initial high torque figure thats stated is to make sure the new bearing is seated correctly? Link to post Share on other sites
