peterp 0 Posted August 31, 2004 Report Share Posted August 31, 2004 I am looking for information needed to overhaul the gearbox of a VR6.Extracts from a workshop manual covering dismantling and re-assembly would be helpful.Of particular concern is the correct method of selecting shims after replacing bearings, which may involve measuring the 'pre-load' of the bearings.Any help would be most appreciated.PeterP Link to post Share on other sites
