hellsVR6 0 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Share Posted December 24, 2007 Just to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and I hope Santa brings you all much loveliness!I have some bad news for you however.I won't be coming on the 'Ring trip I'm afraid. It's nothing personal, but I'm off to Australia next week for a month on holidays and when I come back, the rest of my funds are going to be spent on a 1967 Beetle, when I can find a good one.Considering the amount of money that needs spending on my VR, and what I've spent on it already (way too much!) I can't justify throwing about another £2,000 at it including the cost of the trip, which will instead buy me a 'play' car for next Summer and something I can take to all the VW shows which is really what I want to do.I'll still be around here from time to time I guess, but that's the gist of it, some of you may be glad not to have my company for a few days, well I say arse to you! LOL....but I can go to the Ring any time really, but I made a big decision in not going.I've only lost the cost of my ferry ticket which was £60 so I can stomach that.Aaaaah well!
