swaper 0
I am not sure if those (if any !! ) pictures will give you any help, but i have checked the :- Oil level is correct. ( not by checking only the dip stick )- The crankcase ventilation in no longer connected to the inlet . On the ventilation hose there is only the non return valve connected (with somekind of sensor) and at the end the oil catch tank.- When rev at max 3000 rpm, there is not any leak. After that limit and up to 5500 - 6000 rpm, i still see oil leak , under the body of the S/C ( right below the center clamp) as well as coming out of the filter box.- Sorry for my English, i come from Greece !!!! xyber 1
oil catch can is too low, needs to be as high up as possible, mines up next to the suspension turret, if its placed down low in the bay itll fill up quicker and flow back to the MAF and cause problems
swaper 0
i will relocate it .tks. But the problem of the oil leaking S/C , still remains. To tell you the truth, the only think that i haven't place till now, is the small non return valve which is supposed to be placed on the EGR line. .... i also do not think that this will solve my problem as well. Do u have a stage II installed ? Does it worth the cost ?
xyber 1
Ive only got a stage 1 as I use the car every day, i may get stage 2 in the future but normally im just sat in traffic so not much use at the moment

swaper 0
take out all the oil of your engine. it should be 5,5 liter maximum. If its more then thats the reason of your problem. wrong model oil dip stick ( VR6 has 2 models)Also there is a minor chance it has to do with the oil check valve(oil feed line).thats the tiny gold coloured thing which in the blue anodized aluminiumblock on top of your SC(oil feed)Its hard to check.you have to block off the nipple at the outlet of the supercharger. completely remove the black hose from the outlet side of the SC. so no oil can go into the supercharger/boostpipe.go take a drive and look for oil coming out of the black vacuum hose, so do not look for oil coming out of the air filter. This is all we can help, we have never ever had to spent so much time on support emails. Its better to post on vwvortex maybe. ( That is all their help ..... )
xyber 1
I think your best draining all the oil, then refilling with the amount you know is correct (5.5ltrs), then if that doesnt work, order a new check valve as it wont cost that much. You really dont want to be driving anywhere with no oil flow to the SCI think draining the oil and starting over will probably sort it, my dipstick is pretty hopeless aswell for some reason, I dont think the volume of oil between the min and max marker is very much
mike 6
well it looks nice anyway! good luck with gettin it sorted.copy the tags [ IMG ] text simlar to that
FishWick 21
I've seen 3 Vortech V9 superchargers with oil leaks. Not sure if it's the same issue on your V2, but on the V9, there was a sealing issue with the blue anodised block that the oil feed connects to. It prevented the copper washers keying with the anodising and oil would leak out and down the side of the charger, collecting in a pool on the inner wing underneath.I got round that on mine by sanding off the blue anodising and it then sealed perfectly.Just something else to check! FishWick 21
The trouble with a lot of tuners is it starts as a hobby, word spreads and people want their products......but they often don't get the business side of it sorted and end up getting a bad reputation, despite the products being good.Customer service is vital. Too many companies these days think it is them doing us the favour, when it is the other way round.
swaper 0
Listen something funny !!! They propose to me to join a forum ( like this ) to solve the problem ! rodney 17
In the UK yes..... NS racing and Regal Motorsport. Both are in the guides of companies! I got mine from Raj @ NS on 00 44 7971836839. Based in London.I did see a little kink/bend in one of your pipes. Just to be sure you may want to cut that to the correct length. Also keep the oil catch can as high as possible. Does it have a piece of wire wool inside it?? It should have. You are meant to empty the catch can regularly. Finally did you re-install the Carbon canister? If not what did you do with the pipe? There is an installl guide and a diagram here http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?129894 for you to check you have the installtion correct against the drawing.I hope these help you.... Bobtrude 0
Hi, I have read the whole forum post and my recomandation would be:1. Check if you have the right oil dipstick with your local vw dealer. (this is important for many reasons other than the oil return)2. Change the charger gasket. (the one that the clamp clamps)3. Unscrew the charger feed and return lines and when you screw them on again, use some kind of threadlock (i have that on my turbo) this keeps the oil from leaking. Dont buy the stage2 set yet before you get this running. The VR6 specialist also made my setup, but it also was a BIG hassle. But all in all they did a good and solid job. It goes like the new 997 carrera2 Dont you have a tuning shop in Greece that could help you out?
