Ferrari VR6 0
Yes mate, no right handers were made after '94 but you can get them professionally converted... you know it's gonna co$t tho! and to insure... plenty as well, but it'd be worth it
acf8181 0
I've been looking at the "bug eyed" Scoobys and these are real bargains for £10-£12k. Suburu's styling mistake has worked to our advantage here. A £300 headlamp kit sorts out the front-end looks nicely anyway.that cheap? really? some of the original style impreza's go for that. think i'd prob take an RB5 for £10k over a bug-eyed one though. the latest one has really grown on me, i badly wish i could afford a WR1. tandino 1
12k to spend would be spent on any of the following:-Audi RS2 - 12k will get you either a leggy rhd or a nice lhd,BMW E34 M5 3.8 - you will get a minter for 10k - keep a couple of grand in the bank for servicing etc. (possibly my next car..)BMW E36 M3 3.2 Evo - you can pick these up ridiculously cheaply nowadays and they are still a lovely car..Saab 95 Aero Estate - 10k on the car (which should buy you at least a 2000/2001) then give either Maptun or Speedparts the other 2k - you should be breaking the 320bhp barrier by then 8o) If your looking at a classic'ish 4wd turbo then there's only one imho :-Audi ur quattro turbo 20v RR engined beast - you should get classic insurance on anything of this era including the Integrale - worth thinking about but only really practical if you have a second car or do low mileage...Pete. Guest Olly_K
not ruling out the bug eyed scoob, still toying with the e36 M3 evo. Got to keep the wife happy (practicality) and the insurance man. Not had a go in an S4 yet, so i'd like to see how that fares. Its still top of my list, but you never know. Might even drive the bug eyed scooby after that !
antera309 3
Which are the best Mk2/Mk3 Imprezas to go for? WRX, WRX STi or Prodrive?
acf8181 0
well, of the latest impreza it goes - WRX, WRX STi, WR1.think the bug eyed one is in the order you've put it.
antera309 3
At any rate, I think I've found the car I'm gonna replace the VR6 with when "chain tensioner replacement time" comes around.
