Iv noticed in another thread that people are gettin quite good mile per gallon, like late 20s early 30s. I never get that out of my car, wat culd be wrong? if anything.

Take the lead weight off your right foot it usually helps.

lead weight, lol. wish i culd afford 2 hav a lead weight on my foot. iv sat at about 3000rpm, bout 70 on a motorway 4 about 15 mins and best i got was round 25 sumwhere.

On a full tank I went from Bournemouth to Hemel Hempstead about 236miles return. Got back into bournemouth with just above the red

It all depends if you do mainly motorway driving you could see up to 32mpg and if u are always starting and stopping around town then your mpg could show anyfin between 15 to 20mpg.

I only get about 20 ish but I do a lot of short journeys I can get to 30 but you will have to drive like your 90

8 miles return trip daily gives me 15 mpg, max I would get off a full tank is around 160 miles , Motorways returns around 25ish per gallon.

Mine prefers to go faster. Fueling is all bang on target according to dyno.

330 odd miles (v-power) on a full tank motorwaying it. 250 very very max on varied town and motorway. 210 very very max on solely town driving

i was geting 220 on a full tank but since it had a full service over xmas im now getting 240 - 250 driving the same roads

or 220-30 on the tesco premium shite

I don't think i have seen much over 20 mpg since charging my vr, but prior to that I regularly used to see around 32- 35mpg on m-way and around 22 - 25 mpg around town.

Wow, I am truly amazed by the consuption of your cars.....did a 40 miles round trip on the motorway today and the max I got was 25mpg, I constantly get around 15 mpg driving around town, can anyone suggest what I should check, car was fully serviced around 700 miles ago, also using premium fuel ???

Stick Vag-com onto it, could be your O2 sensor is faulty... (?)

Did use a dianostic code reader (non vagcom) came up with no errors....should I just change the sensor anyways? Also don't have climate control.

Hi .Newbie here and just as a point of interest. Your car would normally be churning over at 2500rpm at 70mph.

Might I sugest you were up in the 80s ?

I get appx 33mpg in slippers on a run and 18-22 about the city. 8-|

Last 3 tanks have returned average of 305 miles. Not too bad it seems!!
