veedubyah 0 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 hi ther i have a question if anyone can help......iv got a 97 golf vr6 highline with 97k on the clock i sometimes have problems changing gear with it seeming to 'hit' the gear rather than slot straight in, the clutch doesn't seem to be slipping under acceleration and this problem doesn't happen on every gear change just on the odd occasion......any help and advice will be much appreciated Link to post Share on other sites
Matt W 4 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Share Posted January 24, 2008 I have a similar problem on mine, but it seems to be with the "front" three gears i.e. 1st, 3rd and 5thhowever my clutch clips so think that might be the problem plus i have a high biting point :S Link to post Share on other sites
