s3 Rich 0 Posted February 1, 2008 Report Share Posted February 1, 2008 read a thread somewhere else regarding cheap chips/re-mapping, & it basically said that due to position & heat the O2 sensor may not function correctly & that adding certain mods wont work as the ECU over rides things unless this sensor is giving correct readings - ie goes into a kind of safe mode?can someone give me an idea where it is, how to check for damage etc & any other usefull info befre parting with £30 for a chip (not a lot i know, but not my only car)any help appreciated, ta.Richard 8-| Link to post Share on other sites
