hippy 0
I have bought a vr6 today and have driven it to work. While on the motorway I noticed that when I cruise with constant revs it judders violently and feels like the car is boucing. If I accelerate hard then the juddering goes away. the accelerator peddle also feels a little laggy...If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
VR6_Absy 0
You need to get it on VagCom to check fault codes, wouldn't be surprised if it's the camshaft position sensor
blondie 0
mine had that b4 and it was a cracked coilpack. VAGcom only brings up electrical faults tho
lolek 0
could be lambda sensor, when cruising the car runs off the lambda and when exelerating it runs off the map,
VR6_Absy 0
mine had that b4 and it was a cracked coilpack. VAGcom only brings up electrical faults thoThis damp weather you'd see a cracked coil pack spark up like a lazer show, fine spray of water using a plant sprayer will also give a good test.VagCom will pick up any faults recorded by the ECU. Yes it is related to electrics but there are loads of Electrical sensors which monitor all the mechanical gear ;-)A faulty lambda would register on VagCom.
