StuartVR6 0
Hi All, I'm hoping you can help me, I have a 1995 golf vr6 obd1. When the car is cold it will start fine however once warm it cuts out and will not start again until it has cooled!.I've run Vag-Com on the car and the only fault it had was Camshaft Position Sensor, I've changed this and thought th problem was cured however a day or so later it re-accured, I'd assume the car didn't get properly warm at first.I've read several post on here and made the decision to change the Crank position sensor aswell and still no joy and over £135 down.Vagcom shows no faults however sometimes the immobiliser has an intermitant fault, this doesn't coincide with the car cutting out. I have a new ECU on order (Aftermarket) as I'm looking to get the most out of the car as I add modifications, can be re-tuned when needed. Sorry this is a long post just wanted to give you all the background, my question is could the ecu be the underlying problem or do you have any other idea's??Thanks for any helpStuart
thegoth 5
Off the top of my head, after having similar probs and reading around, the fuel pump relay or the ECU supply relay. Sounds more like the fuel pump relay.http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?156121.posthttp://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?140566.post
