saichy 1 Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 i was driving home from dropping the girlfreind off at work when i noticed that my engine temp was dropping down. it droped down to about 80oc and the oil temp was sitting around 80/82oc it took abit of time for the enigne temp to get back upto 90oc where it normaly sits all day long.i went out in it again after and it did the same again, when it builds back up it will drop again shortly after. i tried driving it abit harder but it still wouldnt make the engine or oil temp rise but there is no loss in power and i carnt hear any weird noises coming from the engine.can anyone help please?here is a pic to show where it drops down to.thanks saichy Link to post Share on other sites

dubdub 0 Posted February 23, 2008 Report Share Posted February 23, 2008 Mine runs at a tad past contre with new stat and rest of trimmings. It does sound as if stat is opening a bit early which is better than a bit late. Keep an eye on coolant level though. Link to post Share on other sites
