Hi All, I want to put a new exhaust on my VR but I dont want it to be to loud but I do want it to enhance the sound of the vrs?

Which is the best to go for?

I think this has been discussed to death - search and you'll find that Jetex/Milltek systems are what you're after. I have a Jetex and it sounds great but not Max Power loud.

I had a custom 2.5'' built system at JKM in portsmouth £550. No Mot where i am

On the MOT front, you can get away with not having a cat if you're turboed or charged as VW never made a forced fed VR6, so the MOT man can class the engine as 'unclassified', which will have much more leniant CO2 emissions to pass.

If your VR is standard, you will need a cat unfortunately.

this is what a 1 box fk system sounds like on a rr ie only a backbox no cat

it had a backbox but bugger all else iv got the cat for mot time ps the exhaust is sitting in the garage atm if you want it make me a sensible offer

it isnt too loud when driving normally (although it does pop very nicely) but really roars when you open the taps i had the exhaust on for a while when i got the charger heres a vid at the pod from my mates 280bhp scooby if you listen on the run you can hear me comin till i missed 3rd gear lol

Do you think that the car would go through the MOT alright with just the cat and the backbox??

Do you have any phots of the exhaust? woudl it fit straight onto my car and what tip is the exhaust?
