OBD2 WORTH REMAPPING?

hi. i know lots of people say its not worth remapping an OBD2 vr6. iv got an OBD2 vr6 with an BMC filter, miltek exhaust with cat and thats all. if i remapped it..would there be any power increase at all(if so, how much by)? would it effect the fuel economy at all? how about the throttle response? or any other differences?

i think you would need a few more mods for it to make much differnce tbh, like shrick and or upgraded 6 branch manifold/, decat/sports cat

i ran a 1 box exhaust ind kit and decat pipe without a remap it made 198 bhp it pinked a little with a schrick then i sold the sschrick and eventually got cams and a remap it then made 220 bhp with 215 lb ft personally i wouldnt bother remapping with your mods but if you do get cams and/or a schrick id DEFFO get it mapped mate

i got dougherty racing cams 268 duration cant fault em id recomend fitting new tappets while your at so they all bed in together your engine will love you for it mine did oh and depending on oil use/mileage id get the valve stem seals done while your at it thats what i got done along with the chain tensioners lol
