2.9 corrado vr6 manifold onto a golf 2.8 engine will it fit ?

Hello to all , I am considering purchasing a corrado intake manifold to fit on my golf vr6 2.8 engine , will it fit ? does anybody know of any power/performance gains ?

Also does anybody know of a suitable cam/chip combo for everyday fast road use ?

if its the older obd1 type of golf then yes it will fit youd be better off fitting the throttle body too.

the diffrence in the manifold is the obd1/corrado will flow a bit better at high rpm so youl gain a little bit of bhp but youl probably lose a little low rpm torque

as regards cams 268 degrees is the favorite dougherty racing make them alot cheaper than schrick and they are very good i had a set i didnt lose any low down torque but gained hp because it pulled much better into the limiter you will need a remap for the cams though hope that heklps

ITS THE OLDER OBD1, MY CARS A 1992 MODEL,IVE JUST BOUGHT A RECON ENGINE AND WANNA BUILD IT WITH MORE POWER THANKS, LOOKING INTO DOIN A GROUP BUY WITH SCHRICK MANIFOLDS AT THE MOMENT WHAT DO YOU RECKON EAT THIS , MUCH APPRECIATED
