pRot3us 0
If so can you tell me how you've attached the mid section to the cat?I've had right trouble getting a proper seal on the cat. The sleeve supplied (pictured below) nearly gives a proper fit, but because of its lack of cuts down the side of one end it can't be clamped onto the cat properly. My mk2 Jetex system was a piece of p*ss to fit,it doesn't help that this system is a generic/fit all Mk3s system and has no instructions.Any help much appreciated
blackmagicvr 7
i fitted one on my mk3 vr and many other vag cars, best exhaust i have ever fitted,it comes with various sized sleeves as you know, pick one that fits snug and turn the holes on the adaptor the same position that you are putting on the clamp,so it clamps down on the cat pipe its self, and also add a smear of exhaust paste on all joins of the exhaust, hope this helps, regards. ben_notts 0
i had my section welded as it ended up being easier! it just wouldnt seal on the cat outlet even when we made bigger cuts to clamp down on- but to be fair it wasnt brand new as i picked it up and ran it on my previous 1.8 golf so i cant remember if that caused the jiggery pokery!
