madmonkee 0
ai..... loss of back pressure=loss of torque low down, more free flowing at high speeds. Could be the combination of the exhaust as well tho...

Pittuf 0
Yup, defo got enough noise at the mo :-pWill look for some prices methinks :-)
mark@vagworx 0
It's not too much hassle changing the decat. Took about 20 mins.I'm not sure you'd have enough back pressure in the system if you got a decat......could end up losing performance in your case. Could be wrond though. Pittuf 0
Got quoted 200 for std one today, think I'll stick with that.Did people know that the golf can have 2 different sizes of cat depending on where it was made, mine was the longer one which was why my new exhaust system didn't fit straight on.I'm pretty pissed as no where in any of the info I got with the zorst does it say this, so I have got to fork out a handling charge to return the silencer and middle box ~
tommy 0
that sounds like a good price for a new cat......just had a look in the g&s catalloge they list 2 cats Up to 93 :? 93 to 98 :? Thats a real arse about the zorst.......they must have sent you one for a earley vr....do you know if they do one for the later car........you only need a new centre section i'd say
