VR6_Absy 0 Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 Somehow my crankshaft pulley has worked its way loose and subsequently worn away the bore of the pulley, so i need a new one.Anybody fitted a lightened pulley ? dubdub 0 Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 I assume these pulleys are secured vitha woodruff key as well (I could be wrong) If this is the case then it will need to be replaced as well. Also check slot for wear that may have been caused by chatter when pully loose. Lightweight pulleys should be your last consideration as they offer no improvement at all.
