blankmind 0
Hi, i asked a question regarging exhausts on another forum. I wanted something quiet for the vr and was recommended the Jetex 3 box system. I've no idea on power gains though. Hope this helps.

johnODB2vr 1
cool, so has anyone had a de-cat replacment pipe on theirs, and whats that like?
ThermalP4 1
I got a MIlltek full stainless with de-cat section. Much louder with the de-cat section. Sounds awesome has to be said but sometimes on the motorway the drone can get on your nerves.I'm thinking on getting a sports cats to replace it to be honest.
spindat45 0
I've got a 2 box Miltek Cat-back system with a standard cat on my VR. I bought it second hand and I can't fault it. On tick over you know that it's not a standard system but its definately not loud, More of a deep purr. I can honestly say that when cruising on Motorway journeys there is no drone. Just a lovely deep growl when you put your foot down and the sweet sound of six cylinders drawing in as much air as the induction kit can supply. There's also a lovely rumble on the over-run as you slow down through the gears. Not sure on the the power increase but I'm sure I gained a few bhp when I got rid of one box and the original twin pea shooters Fitting was probably made easier by the fact that it had already been on a VR. There have been no knocks or rattles from the day it was fitted and the twin pipes sit straight and snug with about an inch of chrome sticking out. I would have thought that the Jetex 3 box system would definately be quieter but the Miltek 2 box is also very driver friendly (imho). Kevin
