turbo_ted 0
was id RR'd at the same place each time?
VR6_Absy 0
If it wasn't RR'd at TSR before you can't really make a good comparison. TSRs rollers are supposed to be accurate, how true that is who knows ? Mine just fell short of 200 and the torque reading was well down which is odd
Phat VR6 3
Its a fresh rebuild isn't it ? Pehaps it will make abit more few thousand miles down the road. After everythink free'd up abit
gav_113 0
yesh different rolling road each time...and the engine has prob done 1500 miles so far..would the larger manifold make any difference...??
VR6Pete 1,455
The key thing here is that you have had it rolling roaded on a different rolling road.have you had it mapped yet?
jaysVR6 2
To be fair mate, going from 2.8 to 2.9 will give you hardly any power increase but maybe a little more torque. I had my old VR rebored to 2.9 with forged pistons and ran it NA for a while before it was charged and the gains were negligible.
vr6newcomer 1
as above, i had a rebuild and had all the inlets and outlets port matched and polished, adn allthough it hasnt given any more b.h.p, the car is just much better, driving up and down through the gears. gav_113 0
yesh the car is much better, driving up and down through the gears..it is def better on the road.. maybe it is down to the rollers?which manifold would be best on 2.9 bottom end..ive got both??
UnitedMotorsport 55
2.9 manifold works best with a 2.9 throttle body, and 2.8 manifold with 2.8 throttle body.
