Edmonzo 0
Just took my car for its weekly jetwash and when I tried to lock it when I got home, nothing happened. The alarm sets itself but the doorpins don't go down.I think it's shorting out somewhere as when I turn the ignition to the point before starting it there is a buzz and all the pins vibrate at their starting positions then stop and it starts fine. Please tell me what I've done!!!!! Edmonzo 0
another thing - the doors won't centrally lock manually either.
Nerih 0
arent the doors on the VR6 operated by a vacuum pump, located in the boot? Might be a idea to check the switch in the drivers side door (might be shorted out), check fuse for central locking (check owners manual).also dont jet wash tyres they force microscopic particles into the rubber and create weaknesses in the side walls....(use a garden hose pipe, not a pressure washer).WAS IN today's driving section of times (sunday 19th sept 2004).
