Roan 0
Got new discs and pads all round nearly three months ago. I've just noticed whenever I'm braking there is a bit of shaking through the steering wheel. I can't believe it's warped discs as I've had them on for three months and haven't noticed this before. Should I check the discs and wheels are torqued up correctly or could it be bad alignment/balancing? Doin' my head in... :S
Matt W 4
Sounds like warped discs to me, did you bed them in correctly during the first 100 miles or so? Any aggressive braking during that period usually leads to warped discs. Also what make of discs/pads did you buy?I bought cheap ones for my old Passat ended up replacing them 6mths later as the discs had warped
Roan 0
ATE discs and pads, over £250 worth. Have done nearly 1000 miles with them and only noticed this within the last 100 miles though.
