dubloke 4 Posted September 21, 2004 Report Share Posted September 21, 2004 new bolts and gasket for the sump! the rad and fan has to be changed from the front so its bumper/grill off in order to do it. not difficult, just a pain in the arse dismantling everything just to do the rad and fans. most come out from behind but not these, vr6's are never easy! lol Link to post Share on other sites
doxer79 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Author Report Share Posted September 21, 2004 hi thanks for that i have just phoned g&s with my fan part number and they told me its a mk2 16v fan.how hard would it be to put in a vr6 one is it a twin fan, not sure if there is room! acf8181 0 Posted September 21, 2004 Report Share Posted September 21, 2004 yours only has a single fan? it certainly should have a twin fan, and yes, it fits there no probs.shouldn't be hard to fit twon fans as thats whats supposed to be on there. sounds like theres been a bodged front end repair after an accident to me.
