H13VYY 0
BBS LM'S - KERSCHER CARMONA'S
H13VYY 0
They both look nice. if the prices were the same and the kerscher's 9x16's didn't have no arch/rubbing issues then i would certainly go for the kerscher carmona's. The bbs lm's are 8x17's and cost £450 without tyres whereas the kerscher carmon's cost about £650 without tyres.
vw_golf_vr6 0
bbs get my vote definately
H13VYY 0
btw, if i do get kerscher carmonas..it would be 9x16's all round. So basically like the rear wheels in the picture all round as the front ones in the pic are 7.5j.
H13VYY 0
anyone else with opinions?
Phat VR6 3
Its a realy hard one tbf. But after owning 17s id go for the 16s deep dishs. Both cars look realy nice but the rear wheel of the kerscher carmonas does it for me. Have to say i wouldn't go 9j all round as i like the step and the deeper dish on the back
H13VYY 0
yeh the rears of the kerschers do it for me to but the thought of the arch rubbing hassle puts me off.
mike 6
i dont even like teh KERSCHER CARMONA'S to be honest, and im gettin some bbs lm reps... so guess what i would say....
H13VYY 0
what size bbs lm's you gettin mike? if i get bbs lm's, im getting the 8x17's. Do you know whether their would be any arch issues? and what tyre size you going to be fitting?
mike 6
hi mate, its teh 17x8 im getting. and i might be painting them. i dont think i should have arch isues cus my car is only lowered 40mm at teh moment but il deffo get them rolled before fitting and before i get coilovers.
H13VYY 0
why would you roll them if you aint going to have arch problems?
mike 6
becuase my car isnt very low at the moment... i intend to go alot lower.....btw. i was thinking toyo t1r with 205/40's same as iv got on my 17x7.5's very slight more stretch i guess
H13VYY 0
yeh. would 195/40 be to small
H13VYY 0
btw, where you getting your bbs reps from?
bulldog 2
I'd go for the BBS LMs, the others look like cheap copies of Borbet As, 16" wheels ride nicer but they look too small on the car IMO, I've gone from 17" to 16" and back to 17" again. If you put 9" on the rear you'll have to roll the arches and 9" on the front will stick out, if you go that route, as said before you should stagger them.Just get a set of classy BBS LMs

bulldog 2
WHY HASN'T ANYBODY THOUGHT OFDOING A POLL ON WHICH WHEEL THEY PREFURE :-p I thought they were reps due to the price Mike, I had LMs on my M3 evo 5 years ago, thought I'd stick up a photo for you to see how good they looked http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/bulldogstaffy/M3evo32.jpg

H13VYY 0
does anyone know the weight of the bbs lm's replicas in comparison to the originals? I have been told that they are quite light compared to other replicas and that they are not much heavier than the originals.
mike 6
WHY HASN'T ANYBODY THOUGHT OFDOING A POLL ON WHICH WHEEL THEY PREFURE :-pguess cus there must be thousands of diff wheels that you can put on a mk3...even get adapters for things like corrvette wheels..mmmmm so not really possible to do an acurate poll...im sure a normal thread on it would make more sense....
