Kelster 0
Okay, time to order the SP shortrunner intake but I have just noticed there are some additional parts that I might need as my car is OBDII. Could you please advise... List of Parts There is an Elbow adapter and an OBDII adapter ? Which do I need ? If I buy this (SP Intake and Elbow) and this (Fuel Reg Adaptor) I should be sorted ?And I assume I will need another OEM intake gasket ?

Kelster 0
Sorry not supercharged so cannot help with that. I am just slowly adding (as money becomes available) parts to go down the turbo route.

FishWick 21
I have the SP elbow and 2 things wrong with it:-1) It's swept upwards (about 30 degrees) to clear the thermostat housing, but this plonks the throttle smack in the middle of the radiator top hose.2) The throttle cable bracket appears to be in completely the wrong place.SPTurbo make some brilliant stuff, I have most of their inventory, but some of their stuff just isn't suitable for UK use as their cars are a little different. All you need is the OBD2 adapter plate, but be warned, this puts the throttle very close to the radiator. You may need to get a custom elbow done, or modify the one that SPTurbo sell.I wouldn't use their Stock regulator.Ideally you want to replicate the factory regulator setup by mounting a regulator next to cylinder 6. This will ensure even pressure across the rail. The way SP set it up causes fuel evaporation on 5 and 6 in prolonged traffic jams.
