nivag27 5 Posted May 23, 2008 Report Share Posted May 23, 2008 I have a bad water leak, its been using water a lot lately but i was going slightly to fast and went over a massive bump in the road. I stopped to see if there was any damage and water was pissing out . I filled it up and got home but its still dripping, Could it be te water pump any ideas cost ease of job advice would be great as I would not have a clue where to start. :-( Link to post Share on other sites

nivag27 5 Posted May 24, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 24, 2008 Whereabouts is the water pump located on the engine and is it a tricky job to change, it only seems to leak when the engine is running, it runs down the right side of the engine where the belts are. SankysVR6 1 Posted May 24, 2008 Report Share Posted May 24, 2008 Thats where the water pump is.You need to loosen the engine mounts and jack the engine up a little so its at an angle. vdubz 0 Posted May 24, 2008 Report Share Posted May 24, 2008 Hi funny enough mate i have the same problem today ive took mine apart and its coming from the oil coiler / hose so you might want to check that first you never no also thats abit lower than the water pump. Does any body know how much (roughly) it will cost to repair, and does anybody what some cash in hand work let me know Link to post Share on other sites
