Yes thats right folks i've got the crazy notion in my head that i want to build a 3litre twin turbo vr got the skills a "bit" of money the only thing is im not sure about parts sourcing and decent engineering shops to do certain tasks for me anybody built one before or any helpful links would be appreciated

Actually yer in the right area, contact John Reade of Reade Engineering based in Northampton, He knows all and is a superb Engineering Shop... Give him a try..., There's also a couple of used turbos & gates advertised on Ebay at the mo, maybe worth a look, under Audi S4....

There is a triple turbo VR pick up in the states floating about, made by some tuning company, try VWVortex website for any info.!

i was under the impression 2 smaller turbos were much better than 1 biggy due to less lag etc

the problem with 2 turbos on the vr is the timing of the exhaust ports, as you have to make the manifolds to suit the timing. unless you just make one 6 cyl manifold with 2 turbo flanges... which would still spool ultra fast just maybe a little harder to extract the power. its still defiantely a good idea. there is one on the net somewhere in a corrado, custom made, ill try and find it l8r.
