NicDale 0
Hi all, i've recently bought a vr6 and don't know a great deal about them but have worked on mk2's and mk1's in the past. My rear wiper doesn't work, where would be the best place to start to check for a fault? The rear screen wash jet does work however.CheersNic
thegoth 5
see if there is any voltage going to the motor when the jet is spraying. I suspect there will be and that the motor has seized.
vw_golf_vr6 0
as above if fuse and relay is ok and power is getting to the motor then motor will prob need replacing, you can try switch it on then help the arm to move a bit, done that recently when my dad bought an omega and worked fine after that. if power not getting to motor then it could be a wiring fault between body and boot where wires flex
