Anyone using GSF wheel bearings?

Just had a price from vw and they're £35+ vat each and the GSF ones are £14.50+vat each, anyone know if they're is a quality difference or will the GSF ones be ok?

They'll be going in my supercharged vr

gsf normally sell good quality parts, i have used them quite a few times over the years for bmw parts, i also need a wheel bearing soon and they were my first thought for ordering one from

I do use GSF quite a bit but my brother bought bearings from them recently for his Corrado and had to replace them after 6 months as they were breaking up. I would recommend going for original parts to be honest.

i use a local bearing supplier who can get me stuff cheap ;-)

I used GSF bearings once, and they didn't last more than a year. Got some VW ones and they have been fine ever since.

I always use genuine bearings as they last so much longer......get part number for em from vw mate

have to agree, only ever used OE bearings on any of my cars after some pattern ones died after 200miles on a Nova I had years ago

The only other place I might try is WYKO BEARINGS as they might have them but cheaper and their stuff is bomb proof as they do alot of motorsport stuff

Sounds like OEM is worth the extar £10 a side then!
