DAZVR6 0
Have been researching the net about my suspension woes, mainly coz my spring plate on the p/s/f keeps slipping into the spring and came accross bumpstops...doh.Had a look yesterday and it seems there isn't any, front or rear, would this explain why my spring plate keeps falling inside the spring and why my car sits so low at the rear when its only suppose to be 30/25mm drop? Couldn't even run 17's on the rear as they where always catching and they were only 7j wide. Please help, getting really p****d off with it all now.

DAZVR6 0
Anyone got any ideas..? Tried going to the stealers today coz i was told that the reason my spring plate keeps slipping and wedging inside the spring is because ive been sold the pre 95 springs which have a larger pigtail while my car is a 96 model. Charged VR 0
Thats the right reason for your problem, You need to buy the larger top sring caps or change the Suspension for the right one, Should have bumpstops front and rear, You can buy them from G/S/F, But they may need triming down as the car is lowered
DAZVR6 0
Only problem is the stealers say that the part numbers for the spring caps are the same for 1990-98 cars so im confused. Can anyone supply the part number for the correct spring plate..?
