gti-r-vr6 0 Posted June 18, 2008 Report Share Posted June 18, 2008 Does anyone know where the sensor is for this as mine has stopped working and only seems to read 26.1-26.2 all the time?Is it built into the dash clocks or is there a sencor on the car that it gets its readings from? thegoth 5 Posted June 18, 2008 Report Share Posted June 18, 2008 There is no sensor as such. It knows how far you've gone and how much petrol it's had to squirt into the engine and does some math(s). Have you accidentally switched it to mode 2 which is the measure since the dawn of time, or at least since it was reset by holding the switch in a 0 position for 3secs or so.
