New car on the way!!!!

Recommended Posts

Just bought a car this evening, well, paid a deposit anyway. R-reg Mk3 VR6 (OBD2), 115k, mint condition, 12month MOT, 6 months tax, full service history, climatronic climate control, electric everything, BBS alloys, Pearl Blue/purple......1900 pounds sterling! :)

Just thought I'd share that!.....Pics when we pick it up next weekend

The guy is sticking 12 month MOT on it this week, so will be picking it up on Friday, hopefully.

Really pleased with it t be fair. Been to see a few this week, and this is by far the best and also the cheapest lol.

The missus (her car really) already has plans for it....

Plans are simple really, So far, Mrs B wants it lowered (40-60mm), Cream leather, crystal smoked lights, new number plates (private jobbie she reckons) as they just look tired, and that's about it for now.

crystal smoked lights depends on make hella or inpros£100-200

plates £20 or get them at a show

when its been lowered new alloys a must

Cheers for the info dude. I totally see what you are saying, but Mrs B wanted to start with a blank canvas, as such, and we were limited with the budget at the moment, and also needed a car sharpish (hire car goes back next week). I did look at JK's Golf, but it was more money than we had. We hope to get a lot of the stuff we want second hand off here, I had a good poke about this forum, and as you say seems really friendly. Plenty of good info too :)
