VR6BOY 2 Posted July 8, 2008 Report Share Posted July 8, 2008 Hi Ryan If you are going to run the vortech charger at 8 psi there is really no point in fitting a cooler, I ran mine at 8 psi for just 2 years and no water injection and performed great,However if you run the stage3 12 psi yes a cooler is highly recommended and preferred over an intercooler as they suffer from boost drop at the throttle body The above link is a good place to start only if you are running stage 3@ 12 psi Link to post Share on other sites
