philtvr 0 Posted July 20, 2008 Report Share Posted July 20, 2008 I checked for fault codes today with VAG.com and got the 0533 idele speed regulator 14-00 adaptaation limit(add)exceeded. Ive read on here to try cleaning the throttle body etc.With the engine running i can watch the idle , fuel etc but teh lamda boxes show no readings, does this mean its fubared is there another way to test it?thanks in advance Link to post Share on other sites

UnitedMotorsport 55 Posted July 20, 2008 Report Share Posted July 20, 2008 closed loop lambda control doesnt come on until 50 degree water temp I think.When its active and everything is running correct it should hover around 1.000 if its OBD2 or 0.000 if its OBD1 Link to post Share on other sites
