ian1966 0 Posted July 21, 2008 Report Share Posted July 21, 2008 HiFitted my silicone hoses apart from 2not sure where they go.the 2 small 1's for the life of me just can't see where they go.the 1's they look like have other bits coming off them.am i missing something? thegoth 5 Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 one replaces the cam breather, which should have an oil trap so it's up to you if you want to use it.The other is part of the OBD1 idle stability system so if you have an OBDII engine you don't need it at all. If you don't then again it's personal choice. thegoth 5 Posted July 24, 2008 Report Share Posted July 24, 2008 in the long term it should be kept ( it's is there for a purpose ) otherwise your Throttle Body will get fouled sooner rather than later.I had my samco on for 18months or so but have gone back to the original set up as my TB was filthy and the hose itself had discoloured as they are not designed for exposure to oil.
