VR6_ROB 0 Posted July 23, 2008 Report Share Posted July 23, 2008 right thought I would put my car up on here from the day I bought it to nowI purcahsed it as a 8v gti back end of 2004 looking sorry for itselfoff ebay for 750poundsstupid blue neon lights all over it and in the spot lightsso I tried to tidy it up as best as i could at the time on my poxy wagehead gasket went fixed it then it went again few month later so I decided it was time for a changegot a new lump to put it and the car sat around for some time before anything was done about itthen the car went off for a lick of paint to freshen it up a littleeverything went well for first few hours then it decided to catch fire due to the wrong relay in the fuse box for the fuel pumponce that was sorted car ran pretty well then the bottom end decided to let go on the way to work so once again everything came back outI sourced a 2.9 corrado lump this time with 66k on that got fitted not had any major problems with it been in and running a yeardecided to try tidy the engine bay up a little still needs repainting as everything has reacted and its bubbled alotfew pictures of the car most recent and a couple from a photoshoot it had done for some advertising earlier in the yearI also picked up a new interior last december which made the inside 100 times betteronce I had the doorcards in anywaythats about it for now few bits and pieces been done no pictures to followsmall spec listmk2 golf 1991white2.9vr6 OBD1 engineDecatpower rohr intakejetex exhaust systemRed Samcoskoni springs16" wheels not sure on make290 vr6 brakes5 stuf conversionpolybushed front and reargolf rallye interior pressed platescrystal crosshair headlights / spot lightscrystal indicators / foglightshalf smoked crystal rear lightsrear wiper removed Link to post Share on other sites
