buttmrt 0
Hello all, I've just fininshed rebuilding the VR after doing the timing chains and now i've got a weird idle problem. It only occurs when the clutch is in and i'm braking to come to a stop (usually when i'm going quite slowly) the rev's seem to keep dipping, as if the engine wants to die. But then as soon as i've stopped with foot still on the brake and clutch still in it goes away and idles normally???!!! very confusing. I don't have access to VAG.com so has anyone seen this before? The engine had a new clutch, chains and guides, leads, plugs, all fluids etc. Apart from this niggling problem it is running brilliantly. I also fitted a new K and N57i could that be it?
