Killboy 0
Sup guys!Okay, here is my car. Its a 1994 VR6, 110k miles, that I recently purchased. I've since then replaced the brakes, fixed a rust spot, and fitted a Bistein B12 suspension kit and H&R Springs. Now, its been great, but since fitting the kit, I cant take much weight, or hit a real hard bump without the rears scraping. Now, the rims need to be redone anyway, and I need new tires. I'm heading to Nurburgring in the first week of September. I dont think I want to run 17"s, rather 16"s, for more progressive steering. Looks arent important, drive is more so. I want 16s over 15s as I plan on upgrading to the TT brakes soon. So, I know there are offset calculators and such, but that doesnt help me, as I dont know what the original rims sizes were, or what the current offset of these 17"s. Is it possible to get a set of 16"s that are the correct offset and do not scrape? Thanks
SankysVR6 1
The origonal 15" rims had an offset of ET43, if thats any help.
Killboy 0
Thanks! Now, any ideas as to the offset required for 16"s, and then 17"s?Problem is, I dont know how much lee-way exists. Was hoping someone knows.Odd, but it doesnt seem to scrape at the top, it seems to scrape at the front of the rear arch. As the suspension compresses, the wheel doesnt move straight up, but forwards too.
