thegoth 5
I've been running with leaky valve stem seals / guide wear for over two years. But do not show any of your other symptoms. My only symptom is a huge plume of oil smoke when I boot it after engine breaking / over run at junctions, roundabouts etc.P.s. In that time I haven't changed my plugs or even checked them for oil so can't say if that is significant.
stealthybear 0
cheers friend... at least i know if it is valve stem seals it aint terminal!!
stewvr6 0
valve stem seals aren't terminal just yet but they will eventually get worse. it cost me £500 to replace 3 as the head came off and went to a specialist to be skimmed. The boiling water inthe header tank sounds like the thermostat not opening correctly, thus causing the temp sender not to operate the fan.
