Engine die's while driving

Hello

Engine is obd1

Problem I have is : Happens in every gear but an exaple is, In 3rd gear at 35 mph if i push the pedel alittle more the engine dies as tho the fuel pumps turned off.Push the pedel alittle more the car carrys on driving

At the moment I have the throttle sensor unpluged.The car runs okish splutters when cold and revs are up and down when stopped but doesn't stall.

Got a new throttle sensor and still got problem.Thought I'd ask you guys first as I dont want to go to VW.

Tried changing the fuel filter? Does it have a standard air filter, if so has it been replaced recently? Next thing would be to check fuel pressure at the rail, then injectors.

The fuel filters new ,It have a K&N induction kit on with anew MAF sensor. I dont know about the fuel pressure at the rail and injectors.

Also I forgot to mention if i put my foot down on the gas farely quick the engine doesn't die.
