rodney 17 Posted August 13, 2008 Report Share Posted August 13, 2008 Ok so I have been watching a series on TV about a group of scientists in a rain forest in Guyana.Whilst the Programme was ok, there was one bit which caught my attention and has spurred me for the first time. Basically the Presedent of Guyana has approached the UK to do a deal so rather than logging the forests for its timber. We can pay to keep the forests and offset our carbon emissions. I actually think that is a blinding idea. However knowing the way the UK is we will turn that down.So I wouldnt mind a couple of ideas from you guys. I could just write a letter to the Times but what other options are there for me to do my bit and highlight this as an option?I know it is a bit green and goes against the old VR6 (a) but it would be nice to leave something behind dont you think? (tu) (#) So any ideas? Anyone in the media industry? etc etc etc etc?? (ip) In fact if you are any other sites/forums please feel free to post it and see if it deveolps into something great....
