ip 0
I've got a dodgy rear door on my car that some chump tried to respray himself. Nice matt finish and not really the same colour as the rest of the car.Found a guy on ebay who'll sell me an original door with a matching paint code to my car. Should be a straight swap. Mine's a 95, this door came of a 97 but both are black magic pearl. Any idea how good I might expect the colour match to be?Cheers,ip

ip 0
Thanks for the advice mate. I'm getting quotes of £400 which seem high to me but maybe that's the going rate? The car only cost me £1500 so it feels daft to spend that much on a door.
ip 0
Based on Chrisbvr6's advice, does anyone know a decent body shop in central Scotland to get this door sprayed? Also, what is the going rate for a door respray (pearlescent paint)? Anyone have any ideas?
