ROCKET RON 0 Posted August 21, 2008 Report Share Posted August 21, 2008 Can anybody help my l reg vr6 kicks out blue smoke when i ease of the accelerator and sometimes when i accelerate when its running down the motorway and when its idling there is no smoke i thought about the oil seal rings or the plugs can anybody help please Link to post Share on other sites
xyber 1 Posted August 21, 2008 Report Share Posted August 21, 2008 when you let off the accelorator the valve that comes from the rocker cover dumps oil vapour into the inlet, they do burn oil abit when you get a heavy footSee if the plugs are wet would be my 1st step Link to post Share on other sites

Phat VR6 3 Posted August 22, 2008 Report Share Posted August 22, 2008 sounds like your valve stem seals have gone mate, Changing the plugs wont help but might help deside what cylinder its smoking fromIf it when you accelerate then that would surjest its your piston rings, compression test would rule this outDoes it mainly happen when you let off the throttle?
