Ben Seabrook 4
' date=' i think the main objective is to get round in one piece and still have a car to drive home . [/quote']Could not agree more mate it must be very tempting to push it too far but ( and I know last years conditions were a bit tricky to say the least ) after watching so many other cars have near misses and hits u realise how dangerous it is !! And in actual fact not Brendon's either. I was camping with a group including some current and ex armed services personal and one chap who now works on the oil rigs ran out, scared off by the 'truck' waiting for him. Allegedly, as I was still at the camp site.

I only own half of it with Warren though, so will talk to him about it. He's coming over in an hour or so to get it ready for the competition debut next week. I just finished putting the interior back in. Yes, you read that right. When preparing a car for competition, make sure you read every word of the regulations for both events and championships. Bloody irregularities!Cheers,Andy (in the garage)

That's more of a race/pissup than just a group of VR6 owners going on holiday together, which is what we do. We don't go nuts. A couple of years ago, we did do silly speeds en-route but we've driven at sensible speeds the last couple of journeys. I think this year will be no exception. I think the German police have better things to do than impound a bunch of VR6s on a jolly. We're hardly the Cannonball Run!Keep your high speed moments to the derestricted autobahns (although we don't go down any) and the 'Ring, although try to keep it on the black stuff, eh? I can't face another trip where we bring back dented cars or extra passengers.Cheers,Andy
Phat VR6 3
hello, Can a ask a quick question to all that's been to the ring before please. It looks like Ive found a fair few of my mates that want to come at the same but there cars are standard non sporty type hatchbacks, For example someones got a 7 year old standard 1.4 clio, 1.3 mk2 golf ect ect, Are they going to be aloud round the ring or is there some rules on how good the cars have to be.. This should be mint if all goes to plan

Luckily, they banned buses this year in safety grounds so you won't come over a blind crest at 240kph and find one on the racing line! They created a stir for the spectators though, which was fun.Cheers,Andy
