If so, and I plump for the 4 lap ticket, and my car is in good order, what kind of budget am I looking at for the weekend? £600??
thegoth 5
everyone is welcome to come. the last trip I worked out came to £550 but that included 3 nights at a hotel with meals and bar beer along with a 15lap ticket. after that I decided Ididn't want to know! Fuel prices have been up and down since then and the exchange rate is alot lower.a quick break down is in the summer trip thread which is a lot shorter so far ;-) http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?264535

andylaurence 0
Have been lookin' date=' but did someone say you can rent a dub at the ring? any idea how much it costs?[/quote']Yes, Rent Racecar have a selection of VAG and BMW cars for rental. A standard half-day rental will get you about 6 laps on the mileage. You'll pay per km after that (21km per lap). You'll also sink a tank of fuel in 6 laps. That's about £10/lap in fuel. I rented the Golf GTi DSG last year and it was brilliant. There are other rental companies but I've never used them.Cheers,Andy
