andylaurence 0
Nope just everyday PzerosCoolio! This officially makes you the first VR6OC 'Ringer to bring wet and dry tyres. Feel proud!Cheers' date='Andy[/quote']I had wet tyres and snow chains last easter. does that count?I guess so. You didn't have dry tyres though, did you?Cheers,Andy

gary.scales 0
Do you use full face crash helmets? Was thinking about visibility within a car. On a bike a full face is fine. Need to buy one now.....
thegoth 5
That's worrying.....don't be. just stick to the cardinal rule of avoid the kerbs when it's wet.Do you use full face crash helmets? Was thinking about visibility within a car. On a bike a full face is fine. Need to buy one now..... on the whole yes but only because that's what we've got. open face do make more sense though.I wouldn't buy one especially for a first trip. you will be driving accordingly anyway and there should be lends around if you get the chance of a pax lap. what size head are you? andylaurence 0
Do you use full face crash helmets? Was thinking about visibility within a car. On a bike a full face is fine. Need to buy one now..... I use a full-face helmet. If you're worried about visibility the term full=face isn't 100% accurate. There's a hole in the front to see through. :-p Cheers,Andy
andylaurence 0
That's worrying.....don't be. just stick to the cardinal rule of avoid the kerbs when it's wet.Just stay off the kerbs, full stop! Most places, they're so large that they'll hit you off line. Just look at the Maserati video linked from the 7 second ringer. I can only think of one kerb you can hit and it's a bit harsh on the car. That's down at Hatzenbach.Cheers,Andy
craggsy 91
I bought a OMP open face one for £
gary.scales 0
Just bought MCN, they're reviewing budget helmets! Timely! There are to HJC 0nes, HJC CS-12N ACU approved £70-80 and an HJC CS-R1 which is ACU approved for racing for 100-110. Thanks for the offer of a lend, but is a good excuse to get myself a bike!!!Shocks and springs going on right now!! 6 days to go!!
craggsy 91
Motorbike helmets are slightly different to car ones tho'...what ive read about them is that they dont take to kindly to knocks inside the car and can damage em. Hence why I bought a ar one
jims13 6
ive used a motorcycle helmet for a fair few years, that said i would never ride a bike , so mine will do for me, and i prefer full face , as a windscreen that implodes at 100+ mph, isnt nice ( and yes it does happen )
