check this video out those that have been before can tell where the car is going ' date=' it shows a possible extra viewing spot maybe? new one to me anyway....note :he is driving the ring backwards!

the road is the one up from adenau - near the imbiss - to nurburg. turning left onto a forest road just before the right to the 'ring enterance and then onto the 'Ring just before the gantry.

As for viewing points it leads to Galgenkopf and the mini carousal

Here's a picture of a Z4 - which obviously wasn't lapped ;-) - parked at the entrance to the road / track

I guess that bit would be....but the bit near road would surely have a gate as well

not sure about that cant remember seeing one, the same sort of gate as at the bottom of the climb up to the forst maybe. can't be too hard to get to mini carousal as on the lap I had with NigelP his young daughter had got herself there to take pictures

Warren and I will be there. For the first time ever, I'll be driving there in a Golf, too! The Mk2 is currently without gearbox and will soon be without engine. The engine should be rebuilt within 6 weeks for the start of the AutoSolo season and it'll be good to go at Easter! As for that Porker going the wrong way, I'm surprised they allow it, given the way the Armco is setup.

Cheers,

Andy
