purpiablo 0
Well I'm stuck again, but it's not my doing this time (honest), Anyone got a clue what this is and how it gets secured? If you know what the fixings should be, as this has been flapping around sometime now and I have no idea what they look like.Cheers for looking
cabrioman 6
from wot i remember i think its a temp resistor kinda thing ??? technical term that lol but wher eit bolts i aint got a clue as mine aint got one lol
thegoth 5
I think a more technical term is a load resistor. mine is loose as well. think it was riveted on and the circular feature you can just see by the bottom left of the resistor is one anchor point. purpiablo 0
Yeap, my guess would be a ballast resistor but need to dig up some more info..the bracket looks as if it should fix to the pump case..but I ain't sure how. Thanks for the posts
thegoth 5
with connecting wires that short there aren't a lot of places it will reach / fit, so I think you are right. but how to reattach it once the heads of the rivets have come off is a whole different question! thegoth 5
A quick look at Ekta has it listed as series resistor for the mythical EDS system ( low speed traction control ) but doesn't show how it is attached.
purpiablo 0
Hi, back again... couple of interesting posts from TheGoth, cheers mate. So. this looks like a rather large rivet hole (approx 8mm), I'll have a look around and see what I can manufacture..don't hold your breath. More to follow....bbs
