Ben Seabrook 4
right then the idle issue is still peeing me off before I buy a new ISV can anyone suggest anything else this might be !! So the car idles high at about 1200 then hunts at around 800-1000 drops rises etc and will eventually conk out - when driving it is fine pulls well and no problems but as soon as you come to a junction and press the clutch and slow down it starts to stall again !! have checked and cleaned the MAF and the coilpack and had a look at the throttle body which looks clean. Any ideas guys or is it the ISV ??
craggsy 91
Checked for broken wires on MAF.....as you have a "special" connection there dont ya
Ben Seabrook 4
yeah checked mate - and when you unplug the MAF the car dies instantly so pretty sure that's ok- it just the fact it only seems to do it at low revs / idle that is pointing me towards the ISV !!
craggsy 91
Me being all posh and having OBD2 have no need to know about ISVs so amat a loss. Have you unplugged ISV to check it does exactly same as before, if it has a plug that is
