Ben Seabrook 4
right so after changing nearly everything we finally diagnosed the stalling problem as the VW immobiliser cutting the engine out !! so a quick trip to Stealth and the ECU has been repaired - so a quick 1000 mile trip to Germany and back and the car didn't miss a beat so happy with it right now - it's running like a dream, idles brilliantly and apart from a dodgy warm starting issue ( not a major issue) it has no problems !So now I can concentrate on upping the power, stopping ability ( due to getting a telling off by Tony and Craig on the boat home, I have seen the light ) and sorting out the couple of little bits of bodywork that need doing and getting the leather interior in that Jim kindly has stored in his garage VR6 ownership is full of ups and downs !! couple of pics from Nurburgring
Ben Seabrook 4
Woo hoo finally solved my ABS problem - turned out to be the front nearside sensor and the pump all changed and now for the first time in almost a year the ABS light is off !! MOT tomorrow so should be fine new leather interior is in and looking lush and got a few toys lined up to go in - pics will be up this weekend after it has had a jolly good clean as it's still covered in Nurburg Campsite dust

Ben Seabrook 4
Cheers peeps :$ yeah defo Martin plan to get to most of them funds allowing cheers Rikki - yeah took me ages to find a vento one as was desperate for the rear bench will check the name of the filter but it's just a generic cone filter from Wilco put as you I am sure know with space hugely limited in that corner it's a bit of a tricky job and think the last one was just a bit too small - measured the space and got the biggest one I could fit through the headlight space !! was a complete mere putting it all back together but well worth it will try and get a couple of sound clips later in the week
