Chris_B 0 Posted October 9, 2008 Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 hello all, lookin for some help and advice on an engine change. the car in question is a 95 'M' mk3 gti 8v and the donor car is a 97 'R' 2.8 VR6. i can probably physically change the engine and 'box, but dont know what else will need changing to make it all work. any help would be much appreciated guys Link to post Share on other sites

Chris_B 0 Posted October 9, 2008 Author Report Share Posted October 9, 2008 the donor car has a lot of problems, such as hole in floorpan, knackered steering rack, dodgy brakes etc. but the engine is spot on, and what i paid for the car, was a lot less than i could buy just the block for, plus i can sell the interior for almost what i paid for the car Link to post Share on other sites
